Desert Sled Review
The following is from a recent customer who test rode the Desert Sled Scrambler.
"I had the pleasure of riding the new Scrambler Desert Sled recently at Indy Ducati. The bike looks fantastic with its red tank, white fenders, brown leather seat and spoked wheels with gold rims. It looks like a 60's Penton! The bike was easy to get on and off and all of the controls worked flawlessly. For example, the transmission shifted with a very positive feel. The bike is narrow, light and nimble. It had adequate power from the Scrambler power plant and was fully capable on the highway. There is no windscreen, but the clean airflow was fine with me. The handle bars are bent upward like a dirt bike (which I like), but the reach from the seat was substantial for my 5'10" frame. Seat height was manageable -- I could sit flat footed at a stop. The most noticeable part of the ride was how stiffly the bike is sprung. Overall, it is a great looking, nimble, standard bike with good ground clearance, and off-road pretentions that are yet to be tested. It was fun to ride around town, in the twisties, and on the highway."
